Be sure to search for and print out instructions on how to work the operating system, the included instructions are so tiny and unreadable. But once you learn how to use it, this lantern is end game.I wanted a Buy-it-for-Life lantern and I think I got one. My initial complaints are1. The rubber USB-C cover broke off on day 1. I didn't even pull on it. They included an extra one which is great, but I had to disassemble the flashlight and use precision pliers to pull it through from the inside. Now I don't have a spare.2. It's great there's so many modes, but remembering the UI in the field is going to be very difficult. I can already see myself getting frustrated in my tent or whatever blinding everybody fumbling over the modes. I think the addition of a 2nd button would GREATLY decrease the complexity of the UI.Within days of receiving my BLF LT1 I experienced a power outage. Thankfully this was just a short outage but it was at nighttime. This was a perfect opportunity to put my new lantern to the test. I had previously set the tint to just where I wanted it, and when the lights all went out it was time for my new lantern to shine. This thing lights up a whole room with ease, and it felt like I still had my electric lamp still on. This lantern has lots of features (If you're into that sort of thing), but my favorite by far is the ability to get that warmer tint... So many lanterns do not offer that feature. This light runs off of 4 18650 batteries which give it a lot of power and I imagine good run times too. I like that the batteries are removable, so that 5 or 10 years from now this thing can still be running strong on new batteries. The build quality on this lantern is beyond what you would find on most lanterns, this is the lantern to get if you're a flashlight junkie. This lantern is built like a tank . It is very powerful and bright and I can change the color tint to my preference. The Anduril UI is very intuitive and I love the many available modes. The price is definitely a deal.Love it, from the case to the ability to auto dim and turn off with a timer. Ideal for camping or at home use. Solid, wouldnt hike with it, not featherweight, but for a camp , rv or home I reccomend highly.I own a number of Sofirn lights and all of them are very high quality, this lantern is no different. It is very bright and can easily light up a larger room, great for power outages. I haven't personally tested run time but reviews say 6+ hours on high, you will not need it on high to light up a room. The option to change the tint is a great feature. It is pretty easy to use once you get the hang of it. Candle mode is really cool, on a warm color setting it looks just light a candle is burning. This would be great for camping, although it is a little heavy. I would not be using this backpacking any longer distances. Overall a great light. Sofirn makes good products at good prices. The light feels like a miniature tank - it is SOLID and clearly made from premium materials. The UI is expansive (a bit overwhelming for me at first), but very learnable. Many folks who find themselves looking at this product already know a bit about fancy light UIs - don't be afraid to dive in if you haven't already. The "Muggle Mode" feature is nice for when handing off to friends or for those occasions you just want a simple, bright, dimmable lantern light. The battery life is excellent - I haven't even considered charging it since I first bought it. I am very happy with my purchase and will recommend this to my friends and family.Hands down the best lantern I own, my family has 3 of them now!! Brightness and tint ramping, high cri, incredible runtimes, usb charging, and fun hidden modes... It’s just unparralled in the market. Price might seem high, but this lamp provides incredible value for the money. Initially wasn’t sure how much I would use them, but ours are used daily at home, not just for camping or power outages. With the covid lockdowns my wife and I have both worked from home for over a year. These lights are indispensible for Zoom calls. The high CRI and tint/brightness options provide the perfect light to ensure we always look great and not dim or washed out on camera.
