I'm very impressed with the VersaDesk Foundry Bench overall, despite a few issues. The desk is exceptionally well-designed, sturdy, and stylish. Assembly was generally straightforward, though I encountered a minor hiccup: some pre-drilled holes were missing. I had to create them myself using a 1/8” drill bit, which required careful attention to avoid drilling through the desktop.My main concern lies with VersaDesk's customer service responsiveness. My initial order arrived promptly, but it lacked the keyboard tray I expected, despite it being visible in the product image. Upon reviewing the description, I realized the tray wasn't included, so I ordered one separately on February 13th.After two weeks with no shipping updates, I checked my order status online and found it hadn't been processed. I contacted customer service via online chat, and while they acknowledged the issue and promised a follow-up, I didn't hear back. After another week, I called customer service directly. They informed me they needed to create a build order for the keyboard tray. I expressed my frustration regarding the lack of communication, and they assured me a service ticket would be opened, tracked, and I would receive regular updates. This time, VersaDesk followed through, and I received my keyboard tray on March 17th, just over a month after placing the order.Despite the customer service delay, I'm very happy with the quality and design of the VersaDesk Foundry Bench.
